Make your own snow cone syrup.
Our snow cone machine is available to browse in the rental catalog, but we no longer provide flavored syrup. You can make your own with sugar, water, and Kool-Aid.
Easy three-ingredient syrup
This no-cook version uses the quantities in the official KOOL-AID recipe. Choose any flavor of unsweetened drink mix.
- 1 envelope unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup cold drinking water
How to make it
- Mix the unsweetened drink powder and sugar in a clean food-safe container.
- Add the water, stirring until the sugar and powder dissolve.
- Pour a little syrup over each cup of finely shaved ice. Adjust the amount to taste.
Prepare with clean utensils and drinking water. Keep made-ahead syrup refrigerated and follow safe food-handling practices; use a clean dispenser for service.
